Requisite Crystals
By Saul Trabal
Integral part of human existence
Complex in nature, with a certain consistence
Unique frequencies, humming at various beats
Crystals capable of countless feats
The inventor of the computer
An ancient and powerful ruler
Legendary bard, retold tales the norm
A painter and sculptor of human form
They write musical scores
They defend endless shores
They fight for others' rights
They maintain balance in their sights
Yet who they love is deemed a flaw
By those who need to enact a law
Violators must be crushed by the heel
Regardless of what their hearts truly feel
Imperfect cuts in the crystal
Say those who feel they know best
Flawed gems deemed ultimately fatal
Their feculence poisons the rest
So certain that they're right
Their viewpoints weaken the might
Of humanity's guiding sight
Darkening a much needed light
Flawed thinking as this the norm
Adding fuel to a worsening storm
To weather the impending gale
Mature thoughts must prevail
Such crystals are part of the human fabric
Their vibrations merge into complex traffic
Reaching deep into humanity's whole
And ultimately strengthening humanity's soul
